Graduation Requirements
At The Joshua Academy, we maintain rigorous academic standards to ensure our students are well-prepared for college and beyond. Our comprehensive curriculum is designed to develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a strong foundation in core subjects.
To graduate from The Joshua Academy, students must successfully complete the following course requirements:
- Religion:Four years
- English:Four years
- Mathematics:Four years
- Social Studies:Four years
- Science:Three years of laboratory science (Biology and Chemistry must be taken before an elective)
- Language:Successful completion at Joshua Academy of level three in one language, with three years of study at Joshua Academy in no more than two different languages
- Fine Arts:One year
- Freshman Foundations:Required for all first-year students
Credit Requirements
Students must earn a minimum of 26 credits to graduate. A typical course is worth 1.0 credit for a full year of study.

Academic Standards
Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 to remain in good academic standing. Those who fall below this threshold will be placed on academic probation and provided with additional support.
Advanced Placement (AP) and Honors courses are available to qualified students who seek additional academic challenges and the opportunity to earn college credit while in high school.

Course Selection
Students work closely with academic advisors to select courses that align with their interests, abilities, and college aspirations. Course selection for the upcoming academic year takes place in the spring.
